Hydrogen Industry Alliance Launched to Accelerate Clean Hydrogen Market Development

May 1, 2024

Energy Systems Network (ESN) announced today the launch of the Hydrogen Industry Alliance (HIA), which will operate under its 501(c)6 non-profit status. The HIA is a network of companies spanning the energy and mobility ecosystems working collaboratively to support the development of the clean hydrogen market in the Midwest and beyond. The clean hydrogen industry has announced over 1,400 projects requiring $570 billion in investments by 2030. These projects and the economic development and jobs they bring require cross-industry collaboration and public-private partnerships at the state, regional, and national levels. The HIA will foster such collaboration and serve as a catalyst for commercial partnership. It will facilitate shared project learnings and market research, advocate with federal, state, and local governments, and educate the public on the benefits of clean hydrogen, thereby driving the development of the clean hydrogen market.
