Brown: Administration’s New Proposed Rules Would Hurt Clean Hydrogen Production In Ohio And Across Appalachia

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) released a statement criticizing the Biden administration’s proposed guidance for the 45v clean hydrogen production tax credit and calling on them to listen to Ohioans and work with labor and industry to fix the serious flaws in the proposal.

(…)“We wrote the Inflation Reduction Act to lower energy costs for Ohioans and unleash innovation in clean energy production in Appalachia and across the Midwest – and these rules undermine that clear goal. The administration must listen to Ohioans and fix the serious flaws in these rules before they are finalized.”
